3G coverage pays off for the Villa in Premier

Seaton sent spinning as they let eight "inter" net

Exwick Villa saw their efforts on the new 3G pitch at Ennerdale way rewarded with a stunning 8-1 victory against Seaton Town. The match was the only game to beat the weather in the top three divisions, and overall only seven league games and one cup tie were played. Villa’s victory lifts them into fourth place.

Third division Countess Wear Dynamoes were the next ranked team to stage a game at home to Lympstone and then came Beer Albion who also hit eight goals against visitors Winkleigh.

The Black Swans and the Brook went nap without reply in the fifth and sixth division as did Bradninch in Division 7 which also saw leaders Spreyton beaten at Kentisbeare.

Ottery St Mary hit North Tawton for six in the Bill Slee cup.
