The League chairman Mr Roger Spray has resigned from office after 23 years. The League’s longest serving statesman has issued his reasons in the minutes now sent out to clubs following mondays nights meeting. Roger who first joined the League in the 1969/70 season as joint fixtures secretary alongside the late Harry Coldridge, is continuing his role as Treasurer.
Mr Roland Brown now in his 21st year as Vice Chairman, has stepped up as Chairman until the end of the season, and in another move Mr Neil Anthony has been elected as assistant League secretary to Mr Chris Davey again until the end of season. Changes and other League matters should be emailed to both Mr Davey and Mr Anthony to be dealt with. All contact details for the officers are on this website.
