Colyton fire blanks to end their best ever season
Both Bill Slee semis on show this Saturday
Division One champions Colyton who could be Premier bound for the first time in their history signed off with a 0-0 draw against fourth place Perry Street on Friday evening at the Peace memorial ground. However the Somerset side will not be joining Colyton in their promotion bid as they would prefer to go up on merit. Appreciation for Colyton was the guard of honour from the Perry Street lads who clapped their hosts on and off.
Both Bill Slee cup semi finals are the feature this Saturday. Div 2 runners up Kentisbeare host a tough match against Div 3 runners up Crediton Res, while Ottery St Mary will welcome Woodbury at Washbrook meadows as the wooders have relinquished ground advantage.
The final league game is also scheduled for today with Halwill home to Axminster Town Res in Division Two with a 2 pm start.
