Argyle finally grab the points at Newtown

Elmore maintain their three point lead in Premier

Okehampton kept their 100% record with a dramatic late decider at Newtown where they won 5-4 to stay second in Premier alongside Exmouth Town Res who proved too strong for visiting Newton St Cyres.

However as expected leaders Elmore were too good for visiting Topsham Town and racked up a 7-1 victory although to their credit the tops did not really cave in until the final quarter.

Wins for Beer Albion and Cronies moved the pair well up the table, Clyst Valley stopped the rot after edging Seaton, while Feniton and Witheridge shared a 1-1 draw

Division One leaders Lyme Regis finally conceded a goal and were given their hardest test to date before getting home 3-2 against Cullompton Rangers.

Bampton went top of Division Two after thumping Dawlish 6-1, and Creditons 7-0 win at Pinhoe means the Division Three leaders have racked up 40 goals from just five leeague outings.

Halwill made it into the next round of the Devon Senior cup 5-3 on penalties against Otterton, Sidmouth are also through after victory against Whipton & Pinhoe, but former winners Ottery St Mary dipped out beaten 3-0 by Babbacombe’s Corinthians.

Cup shock of the day came at Perry Street where Exwick Villa admit they were second best losing 4-2 in the East Devon Senior cup.
