Hotspot at Colyford Road

East Devons oldest derby between the seasiders and fishermen

Seaton Town face Beer Albion on Saturday at Colyford Road for a clash that always fires up the Axe Valley football following. It may be well away from the title race but will draw just as many supporters as some of the front runners.

Leaders Exwick Villa who travel to Okehampton were held to a surprise draw at Exmouth Town last week, and hoping Exmouth can come up with another good result against title rivals Newtown whose impressive 4-1 victory against Cronies endorsed the message that they mean business.

Cronies have to get back on track quickly and welcome a Heavitree United side which is quietly getting better and out to cause a surprise or two.

Colyton who went back into scoring mode last week are at Clyst Valley while Lyme Regis who are probably now too far adrift host Witheridge.

Upottery whose season seems to have come off the rails lately have a derby clash with Feniton who themselves could welcome three points.

Elsewhere another big day in most divisions, and hopefully I am recovered well enough from my illness this week to summarise

Much appreciation to all who sent get well messages in whatever form.
