Lyme Regis first team to take Express cup over the border to Dorset

Good following from both teams at Elmore cheer Lyme to victory over the Tawts

Enthusiasm was high for the 102nd Football Express cup final on saturday which saw Lyme Regis Ressys defeat North Tawton 1-0 and take the trophy out of the County for the first time in over 60 years.

Only one other team has ever achieved this feat and that was Dulverton Town who won the cup in 1954 and 1955

North Tawton won the cup in 1988 when they beat Woodbury Salterton 1-0, seven years after their only other appearance when they were crushed 5-0 by Chulmleigh.
