Semi final day for the big two

Fishermen and Withy stand in the way

Premier leaders Exwick Villa and their title rivals Newtown take a break from the pressure cooker on saturday as they seek a place in the East Devon Senior cup final. Beer Albion last seasons beaten finalists and Witheridge stand in their way, both with home advantage and a decent crowd is expected at both Furzebrake and Edge Down.

That leaves a smaller than usual Premier programme with the most interesting match at Feniton where they welcome Colyton. A home win would mean Topsham Town who host Clyst Valley, Seaton Town and Okehampton Argyle could not escape a bottom three outcome, but Colyton are keen to end the season in the top three so need a win and hope Cronies come unstuck at Upottery.

Lapford could be within touching distance of the First Division title if they beat second place Chagford who are playing their last match of the season. Kentisbeare who lost to a strong Heavitree side in midweek are at Sidmouth Town and just cannot afford to slip up.

Division Two favourites Whipton & Pinhoe have a tricky game at Axminster Town, while their only rivals Thorverton are away at Halwill.
