Treble points for elated Offwell after a year of nil pwoints

Rangers get their first win since end of season 2016 2017

Offwell Rangers celebrated getting three points for their 3-2 Division 6 win at home to Amory Green Rovers, and that’s three more than they collected all last season when they ended NIL POINTS. Last time the Rangers celebrated a victory was in May last year their final game of the 2016 17 season when they won 4-3 against Central.

After winning both their first ever Premier matches surprise leaders Colyton dropped their first points with a 1-1 draw at Cronies which for the Exeter side was their second draw this week by the same scoreline.

Newtown were the days biggest winners 9-0 against Topsham, and Witheridge raised eyebrows winning 7-2 at Seaton.

Play was held up for a three quarters of an hour wait for an ambulance at Exwick Villa due to an Upottery player suffering a broken arm. Villa then went on to win the game 3-2 and Upottery had to finish the match a player short as they had already used their one substitute.

All the Senior and Intermediate division began this weekend, Kentisbeare making their Division One debut with a 3-0 victory at Heavitree and Chard Town winning the Somerset derby 5-1 against Wellington.

Other highlights saw new boys Village Inn beat fellow newcomers Broadclyst 7-2 in Division 7. Cowick Barton sharing a 3-3 draw with Thorverton and Bickleigh winning 7-1 at Otterton on their return to the League.
