Newtown hold off the Upottery threat

Eagles 100% record maintained

Premier division leaders Elmore extended their 100% record with a 3-0 win at home to Witheridge but rivals Newtown found their touch again to see off Upottery 4-1 and regain second place. Cronies were without a game but their wednesday night hosts Exwick Villa where they shared the points, won at Beer Albion which keeps them in the hunt for a top three slot.
Clyst Valley won a massive game against Okehampton Argyle 4-2, the Winslade Park side getting badly needed points to stay out of trouble, but they might yet need a few more.

Heavitree United were happy to see off Newton St Cyres 3-1, Feniton came from behind to beat Exmouth Town by the same scoreline, but the eye opener was at Hatherleigh Town where Seaton Town were floored 4-0.

The Division One leaders Exeter University won 7-0 at home against Bickleigh although it was the buzzards home game. Second place Lyme Regis were held by Alphington, and the top game in this section at Perry Street against Lapford was also shared.

Div 2 leaders Woodbury won a big derby game at East Budleigh, second place Bampton also won at home to the University and open a massive gap between the pair.

Priory held Crediton United in Division Three’s big game, and the derby meeting between Tipton St John and Otterton also finished 3-3 as did the game between Sandford and the Countess Wear Dynamoes.

Fourth division pacemakers Whipton & Pinhoe protected their 100% record with a 2-0 win at the University, while second place Winchester won at home to St Martins with something to spare.
