16 year old Falcons flyer Toby steals the show

Intermedite divisions round up


Its early days but AFC Exe continue to set the pace as Division Five leaders after their 3-1 victory at home to Dawlish United.
Elmore are their closest challengers following a 4-1 win at the University, Connor Heard 2, Thomas Angell and Corey Groover with the eagles goals, but they share second place with Amory Green Rovers who undid Topsham Town 5-3. Reece Clark, Zak Holland and an own goal kept the Tops in the battle.
Awliscombe United slipped back when held 1-1 at Cranbrook United, James Gosney with the home goal, Martin Willmington with the Awls strike.
Cheriton Fitzpaine won the other game played 2-0 at Upottery.

Division Six leaders Okehampton Argyle suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at Bickleigh whose Lee Dixon and Tom Head found the target. Tom Williams had the Okey goal.
The result will have delighted Kenn Valley United who ran out 7-1 winners just up the road at Central.
Falcons maintained their 100% record winning 5-2 at Witheridge and unearthed a new star in 16 year old Toby Marshall. Falcons goals came from a Finley Newell hat-trick, Harry Jee and Gavin Richards. Micheal Difford and Charle Rook with the home brace.
The University were 3-0 winners at Seaton Town who have now lost all six matches so far.
Devon Yeoman were pleased to better Broadclyst 3-2 in their derby meeting, Jack Battishall, Cameron Pow and Tom Jones scoring.
Sandford won 1-0 against Uplyme but the East Devon side felt they deserved better.

Division Seven leaders AFC Morchard Bishop had their 100% record destroyed at home by Otterton from a 1-1 draw. Jordan Ford with the home goal, Curtis Fewings for the Otters.
Second place Thorverton preserved their unbeaten start winning 4-1 at Cheriton Fitzpaine, James Vanstone 2, Harrion Chudley and Cameron Bastyan find the net.
Dolton Rangers won a cracker and pocketed their first points beating Priory 6-4, Quinton Smith starring with four goals. Will Folland and Declan Hutchings with the singles.
Beacon Knights and Bradninch drew 2-2, Alex Rowe with both for the Knights, James Vincent and Max Rawlings for Ninch.
Sidmouths match against Ottery St Mary was postponed as the Otters have advised they are folding their Development team.

An Andrew Felton hat-trick earned Division Eight leaders Whipton & Pinhoe to a 3-0 victory at Bow AAC.
The Heart of Oak in second place stay unbeaten following their 3-0 win against City Raiders.
Cranbrook United lost second spot after drawing 1-1 at Westexe Rovers whose Sean Jackson was their scorer. Kye Stewart was the Westexe marksman.
Elsewhere Jack Bennett notched a hat-trick for Millwey Rise in their narrow 4-3 win at home to Tedburn St Mary. Ash Doble with the other home goal.
North Tawton celebrated a 2-0 win at Exeter Panthers, Matthew David with both goals.
The University and Newton St Cyres drew 1-1, Bub Grundy with the college goal, Adam Squire replying.

No stopping Division Nine leaders City Raiders at the moment as they clobbered Pinhoe 12-1. Ruben Northcott with a hat-trick, Niall Burland, Jake Langmaid, Nathan Littley and Bradley Rockey with double, Jake Murray with the single.
South Zeal United stay second after a 6-1 win at Hemyock. Goals for Zeal came from Ryan Sweeney 2, Ben Davey, Luke Jones, Lia, Benstead and a Scott Hooper penalty.
Three teams sit on nine points led by Starcross Dons 5-0 winners at home to Exmouth Rovers, Whipton & Pinhoe 8-2 winners against Hatherleigh, the third team.
Chudleigh were unable to raise a side for their game at Ex Dons.
Feniton were 9-1 winners at home to Amory Green Rovers. Goals from Albie Upsom 3, James Lambell 2, Terry Marles 2, Aiden Mitchell and Rhylee Acott.
