INTERMEDIATE ACTION DIVISIONS 5-9
Elmore pulled clear as Division Five leaders after their entertaining 7-4 victory at Cranbrook United. James Gosney with a brace of goals for the home side.
Cheriton Fitzpaine moved into second place as they beat the University 3-1, while in the other game played Awliscombe United and Topsham Town shared four goals, Mark Rodgers with both for the tops.
Division Six leaders Okehampton Argyle were checked 2-2 by a gallant Sandford team which will have made second place St Thomas SC pleased as they had to work harder than usual to better city rivals Central 2-1. Dean Voaden with both goals.
The University kept pace winning 4-3 against Uplyme but they also had to dig deep. Harry Kent 2, Mike Thurbin and Matt Phillips with the college goals.
Just one game played in Division Seven but an opportunity for Starcross Dons to go top as they beat Cheriton Fitzpaine 5-1. Ben Beeson and Darol Whittle with two goals each, Aaron Paltridge with the fifth.
Plenty of action in Division Eight but leaders Whipton & Pinhoe were made to work hard for their 3-2 win against bottom of the table Exeter University.
Cranbrook United on the other hand ran amok at City Raiders where they won 9-0. Kye Steward with a treble, Jake Williams 2, Sam Connell, Dave Hernon, Matt Osborn and Jack Wright with the other goals.
The Heart of Oak were 3-1 winners at Newton St Cyres, Nathan Hubble with the Cyres consolation.
Tedburn St Mary and Bow AAC shared an entertaining 3-3 draw, Adam Bolt 2 and Jason Mew with the teds goals, while Exeter Panthers and Westexe Park Rangers also drew scoring once each.
Only one game in Division Nine but a big upset as Hatherleigh Town won 1-0 at home to second from top Ex Dons.
