AMORY ON CLOUD NINE, BUZZARDS CLEAN OUT THE NOOKS AND CRANNIES

INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS ROUND UP

INTERMEDIATE ACTION DIVISIONS 5-8

First win of the season for the Amory Rovers in Division Five as they celebrated at Awliscombe United 2-0. Amory stay bottom but are now just a point behind Axmouth United beaten 4-0 by Thorverton, and Teign Village where the quarrymen were mined out 3-0 by Millwey Rise.
Another nook and cranny cleaned out for the Bickleigh buzzards as the leaders pecked away against Cranbrook United to win 3-1. Matt Atkins, Lee Dixon and Ollie Elsworthy sharing the goals.
The Heart of Oak now stand as the buzzards main rivals following their 8-2 win at home to Whipton & Pinhoe. Jack Smith with half the goals, Bailey Jason-Ryan with two.
Starcross Dons won 2-1 at home to the University with Zack Beeks and Jack Bradwell getting the goals.

With Central unable to raise a side for their game at Division Six leaders AFC Morchard Bishop, that saw Upottery go top on goal difference with a 4-2 win at home to Dolton Rangers. Jake Burland and Kieran McGinley with Doltons reply.
Unbeaten City Raiders were not troubled at Witheridge where they triumphed 4-0. Noah Northcott and Niall Burland both striking twice.
Cheriton Fitzpaine had a good day at Beacon Knights winning 5-0.
Devon Yeoman and Sandford unable to find the net at either end so it finished 0-0

Exmouth Rovers march on as Division Seven leaders but they were given a lively game at Priory where it finished 6-3 to the visitors. Joel Ramsey, Jack Draper, Andy Lee, Paddy McGuinness, Kevin Pitt and an own goal doing the business.
Rivals Whipton & Pinhoe slipped to a 4-3 defeat at the University. Ben Leighton with 2 goals and Tommy Frost for the W & P.
Exeter Royals scraped a 1-0 win against Newton St Cyres, Kris Roper with the only goal.
Bradninch were delighted to come away from the City Raiders with a 3-0 advantage. Matt Reed 2 and Max Rawlings scoring.
Phoenix United notched up their second win ever as they beat Seaton Town 3-1. Isaac Reed with a brace and Leigh Haskings scoring.
Westexe Rovers won a lively match against Hatherleigh Town 4-2. Goals from Dave Mariner, Ben Sumner, Josh Tidborough and man of the match AJ.

Division Eight leaders Ex Dons had to call off their game with Starcross as their ground was unplayable and that gave Bow AAC the chance to cut back the Dons lead as they came good at Amory Green Rovers 4-0.
Tedburn St Mary now look favourites after they swamped Farway United 9-1. Jordan Wilkinson with four of the goals, a hat-trick for Matt Baker and singles for Steve Kinsey and Lewis Cox.
Millwey Rise also won 9-1 Jack Bennett leading the gallop with four goals. Singles eslsewhere for Callum Farquhar, Josh Marlow, Jon Osborne, Cameron Board and Corban Wilson.
North Tawton beat South Zeal United 2-0, and Bampton were able to field a strong side at Hemyock where they were comfortable 7-0 winners.
