Record turnout for Annual General meeting

Clyst Valley win Sportsmanship shield

There was a record attendance at the League Annual General meeting tonight (21 June) with only two clubs failing to show up. One of those was Otterton who messaged the meeting with their apologies having been caught up in traffic.

Most league business went through unopposed and all applications to join the League were accepted including five new teams – AFC Exe, City Raiders, Countess Wear Rovers, Exmouth Rovers, and Farway United.

All league officers were re-appointed.

Fixtures Secretary Chris Cole said the season will start mid August, and clubs should advise well in advance of any dates they would prefer to avoid.

Clyst Valley were winners of the annual Bill Rees Sportsmanship Shield awarded from marks by the referees appointed to Premier matches throughout the season.

The top three were

88.64 Clyst Valley

88.25 Seaton Town

86.64 Witheridge
