Thorverton tame the eagles

There was no let up for reigning Premier champions Lapford as they routed visiting Okehampton Argyle 6-0. A Mark Tucker hat-trick was the feature with goals also scored by Ben Tucker, Roger Hill and George King.
Chasing Thorverton made sure they did not lose more ground as they won 4-1 at Elmore in a sparkling local derby. Pete Eveleigh, Lee and Joe Radford plus an own goal saw the thors happy.
Beer Albion fresh from their midweek county cup triumph were still in the mood to see off Ottery St Mary 3-0. Giles Basson with a double and Alex Paget with the goals.
Kentisbeare who last week were hit by injuries, were back in strength to enjoy a 5-0 win at home to Axminster Town. Their cutting edge was a Kieran Fry hat-trick and a George Fawell brace.
The University decimated Dawlish United 8-0, but Lyme Regis had to recover from a goal down at Sidmouth Town to win 3-2 in the other matches played.
