Crediton Uniteds lead in Division One was checked in their 2-2 draw against neighbours Bow AAC whose Josh Coles and Ryan Gibson-Heard found the net.
Most of Kirtons challengers were in cup action but Wellington cut the gap after a 3-0 victory at Upottery with Luke Perry bagging a double and Aaron Merry with a single.
Sandford closed up on the leaders after a 2-0 win at home to Halwill. Darren Hughes and Dean Jones with the goals.
East Budleigh edged the University 2-1 at Duckes meadow, Hugo Demetre and Jack Greenslade scoring.
Points shared between Newtown an Hatherleigh Town from a 1-1 draw.
Exmouth Spartans sprang the upset in Division Two as they toppled leaders Winkleigh 2-1. Rob Welsman and Luke Bradford with a star performance getting the goals. Sam Richards also did well.
Second place Beer Albion also foundered 3-1 at the University whose Thomas Hutchnson netted twice and Jake Sinclair once. Brandon Hopkins with the Beer reply.
Clyst Valley won their derby at Alphington 4-1, Chim Chinnah with 2 corkers, Jason Collins and Ed Smith with the Valley goals.
Central maintained their pursuit of cup tied Devon Yeoman with a 5-3 win at Exeter United but it was far from comfortable. Mikhail Shklover 2 and Ben Mendialle with the home goals.
Seaton Town came good 3-0 against the University, Ethan Matthews 2 and Brad Conway with their goals, and Westexe Rovers won 5-2 against Honiton Town whose Adam Down and Ryan Pike found the net.
Plenty of action in Division Four which saw leaders Cranbrook canter to a 4-0 win at East Budleigh. Callum Hoare 2, Adam Brook and Jordan Wilkinson on target.
Second place Farway United shaded Sidmouth Town 2-1, Ben Fullick and Sam Titmuss scoring, Robbie Hallett with the vikings reply.
Bravehearts won by a single goal at Millwey Rise, thanks to an Alex Greening free kick, and South Zeal United enjoyed a 4-2 win at home to Bampton with Tom Chastey scoring twice. Harry Tickner and Josh Tickner with the other goals.
Broadclyst were 4-3 winners at home to Culm United whose Jordan O’Leary 2 and Andrew Hawkins were their marksmen.
Cullompton Rangers and Witheridge both failed to score in their meeting so a point each for their efforts.
