Teign Village are at last finding their feet in their new surroundings and a 2-0 win against Awliscombe United saw the former South Devon League side out of the bottom three in Division Five for the first time.
Leaders Bickleigh though moved eight points clear after their 3-0 win at Axmouth United, as second place St Martins were on a day off, and that meanT the Heart of Oak join the leading pack following a 4-2 win at the University.
Thorverton triumphed 8-4 in a very entertaining game at home to Amory Green Rovers.
City Raiders were another side to produce a shock as they toppled Division Six leaders Ottery St Mary 2-0.
That boosted AFC Morchard Bishop who also won 2-0 at home to Devon Yeoman and are looking well set to take over before too long.
Dolton Rangers challenge was checked with a 2-2 home draw with Central a side reluctant to give away goals.
Beacon Knights remain firmly on the bottom rung after a heavy 5-1 defeat t home to Sandford.
Exeter Royals were held 2-2 by Whipton & Pinhoe in their Division Seven top of the table meeting with Whipton & Pinhoe, but the major surprise was a 2-1 defeat for leaders Exmouth Rovers who had their 100% record blown away by a 2-1 loss at home to City Raiders.
An astonishing result at Westexe Rovers where they beat the University 6-5 and goals plentiful at Seaton Town who took care of Phoenix United 7-3.
Otterton beat Bradninch 3-1 in the other game played.
Amory Green Rovers continued their winning streak in Division Eight with a 3-1 win at home to Starcros Dons, and find themselves in the almost unknown situation of being out of the bottom two.
Farway United slipped back as they were beaten by the weather, which meant opponents Tedburn St Mary were unable to make ground on leaders Ex Dons who were on a day off.
Bampton were at full strength to see off Bow AAC 6-0, and Millwey Rise accounted for South Zeal 4-0 in their midtable clash.
Starcross Dons went through to the next round of the Football Express Cup after a 3-2 win at Cranbrook United, and Cheriton Fitzpaine are also through following their 1-0 win at home to Upottery.
Priory ran up double figures against Lympstones second string in the Geary Cup.and will now fancy their chances of reaching the final for the first time ever.
