COLYTON SUFFER FIRST DEFEAT, ALPHAS HIT NINE PAST THE EAGLES

Premier leaders Colyton suffered their first setback, losing 3-1 at Crediton United, but now have champions Alphington breathing down their necks after their crushing 9-0 victory at home to an Elmore Res who are desparately trying to strengthen their squad.
Upottery are up to third after a 2-0 success at home to Lapford and the East Devon side look good enough to maintain their challenge.
Big home win by Kentisbeare 5-1 against Okehampton Res, while Lyme Regis and Sandford settled for a share of the points in a 1-1 draw.
East Budleigh became the first team in Division One to take points off Wellington Res and that saw St Martins move two points clear after a convincing 5-0 win at Newtown Res.
Hatherleigh Town are also looking good thanks to a 3-0 success at Lympstone.
Ottery St Mary Res stunned Dawlish United 6-1.
Farway United head the table in Division Two after a 4-1 win at home to South Zeal United, overtaking Central who were undone 2-0 by Tipton St John.
Seaton Town won their big derby game at Beer Albion Res 4-3 and it was as gripping as the scoreline suggests.
Tedburn St Mary were crushed 12-0 at Clyst Valley Res, a fifth defeat for the Teds.
Division Three sees Broadclyst make it four wins from four as they trimmed Hemyock 2-0, but Budleigh Salterton Res lead the way despite dropping their first points in a thriller with Alphington Res which ended 3-3.
Heavitree United were too much for East Budleigh Res where they won 5-1.
A first win for Halwill at Sidmouth Town Res 3-2.
New Division Four leaders Bickleigh kept their 100% record but only just as they came away from a battling Uplyme 3-2, and that dislodged Honiton Res who were not in action.
The Heart of Oak being tipped by many as favourites won their third match by a convincing 7-1 margin at Dunkeswell Rovers.
A third draw from four outings for Elmore 3rds at home to Cullompton Res with a goal apiece for both sides.
Starcross Dons 4-2 win at home to Whipton & Pinhoe in a depleted Division Five keeps them six points clear of nearest rivals Upottery Res who pulled off a creditable 4-1 win at St Martins Res.
Otterton and Bampton share the lead in Division Six, the ponies levelling up alongside after a 7-0 romp at Axmouth United, while Otterton had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Beacon Knights.
Whipton & Pinhoe moved into contention with little trouble at Witheridge where they prospered 6-1.
One very entertaining game at City Raiders where they drew 4-4 with neighbours Exeter Royals.
Watch out for the Railway Club. The new boys were too strong for Cheriton Fitzpaine winning 7-0.
City Raiders Res moved joint top of Division Seven with Uplowman Athletic and North Tawton after their 4-2 win at Bradninch. Uplowman beat Westexe Rovers 2-0, but Tawton were in Devon Intermediate cup action in North Devon where they went out on penalties to Sandymere Blues.
Heavitree United Res and Alphington 3rds look like dominating Division Eight, The Alphas were too much for Farway United Res by 5-1, while Heavies Res racked up eight without reply against Okehampton 3rds,
Plenty of goals in the lowest division with Amory Rovers winning 5-2 at home to Bow Res, and likewise Millwey Rise Res winning 5-2 at City Raiders Res.
Finally one other cup match taking place saw Ex Dons progress into the next round of the Football Express Cup after a 3-2 victory at Millwey Rise.
