Thors back as Premier leaders after goal feast at Axminster

With former leaders Lapford calling off their match against Okehampton, Thorverton regained top spot after a thrilling 6-4 victory at Axminster Town. The tigers did not make life easy but Thorverton were not to be denied thanks to a Kieran Smith treble, a Ryan Harding brace and Charlie Hayward.

There was an even more impressive result from Beer Albion at the University where they cantered to a 4-0 triumph. Josh French, Giles Basson, Tony Pinder and Jacob Hale getting on the scoresheet.

A Max Atifeh brace earned Kentisbeare an important 2-1 derby win at home to Elmore, while Lyme Regis left it late to claw back a two goal deficit against Colyton to share a 2-2 draw. George Richards and Billy Knox got Colyton on the road, but Harvey Brimicombe gave Lyme heart and they equalised in the last minute with a Tyler Wellman header.
