Elmore book a quarter final slot in Devon Premier cup

Elmore Reserves carry the hopes of the League on their own into the quarter finals of the Sportslighting Devon Premier cup after their excellent 2-1 victory at former winners Boca Seniors from North Devon. The eagles Connor Stone with both goals.
An injury time winner gave Premier division leaders Alphington a 2-1 victory at home to their nearest challengers Lyme Regis and opened an eight points cushion between the pair. It was a cruel blow for the seasiders especially their goalkeeper who made some incredible stops.
Colyton are upt to third place after winning by the same margin at Kentisbeare, while the University climb into the top half of the table after their 4-0 win at Clyst Valley.
Ottery St Mary are off the basement rung thanks to a 3-2 win at home to Dawlish United, who drop into that slot but could make it a short stay if they manage to avoid defeat at home to the University on monday evening.
Sandford doubled their wins thanks to a 3-1 success against Okehampton Argyle.
