Eagles nestle into joint top place with the Exe

Round up for Intermediate divisions

INTERMEDIATE ACTION DIVISIONS 5-9

Elmore won the big game in DIVISION FIVE against title rivals AFC Exe but it was close. The eagles triumphed 3-1 after coming from behind. Ollie Cherry and Tom Angell with two aces getting the goals.
Elsewhere Cranbrook United won 3-1 at Amory Park Rangers with goals from Steve Bampton, Lewis Matthews and Aiden Windeatt.
Dawlish United nicked the points at Upottery 2-1, Ryan Finnerty and Sam Wright scoring, and Cheriton Fitzpaine also won 2-1 at home to Awliscombe United whose reply came from Lewis Blackwell.

Goals galore in DIVISION SIX with leaders Exeter St Thomas feasting at gallant Seaton Town 8-0. Declan Vowden 3, Charlie May 2, Emmett Casey, Paul Pengilley and Luke Estick with the goals.
Kenn Valley United were back to full strength at home to former leaders Okehampton Argyle and it showed as they racked up a 6-2 success. Hat-tricks for Jamie Sly and Jamie Farrell, with Phil White and Ben McElroy their main assistants.
The University beat Falcons 4-2 Lachlan Baker scoring twice. Nicky Pratt and Harry Jee on the mark for the Falcons.
Bickleigh won 4-1 at Central and Uplyme won 3-1 at Devon Yeoman whose Kris Yelland netted their goal.

Just three matches played in DIVISION SEVEN but Priory pulled off an eye opener winning 4-2 at AFC Morchard Bishop. Mark Richards 2, Andy Lee and Conor McGranagham with the winning goals. Chris Andrews with both home goals.
Otterton galloped to a 7-2 win against Bradninch with Tom Sickelmore bagging a hat-trick. Curtis Fewings, Josh Rowland, Travis Welsh and a Jay Jackson penalty adding to the total. Max Bristow and Ryan Upham replying for Bradninch.
George Dennis and Alex Rowe both scored twice to steer Beacon Knights to their 4-2 win against Dolton Rangers.

DIVISION EIGHT leaders Whipton & Pinhoe won their city derby against City Raiders 6-1 whose goal came from Nathan Ziff.
Jack Kissane was the matchwinner for Cranbrook United with the only goal at Millwey Rise.

Finally just one game in DIVISION NINE saw South Zeal United power to a 5-0 win against Amory Park Rangers. Dan Thorne, Tom Bullingham, Ryan Sweeney, Jake Courtier and an own goal making the difference.
