Exe snatch the cup in spectacular style

The Division five side topple Division Two Otters

Two late goals including a spectacular injury time winner from Jamie Junior Green lifted the League One cup for AFC Exe at Topsham. The Cowick Barton side came from behind twice to beat Otterton 3-2. With time running out in a really close contest, Exe grabbed an equaliser with a superb header from Aiden Partridge  and then came Green’s stunning winner with a strike most professionals would have been proud of. Brandon Green scored their first equaliser.

Mark Dunne and Cameron Brown were the scorers for the disappointed Otters whose Lee Mitchell was making his 400th appearance for the club.

The final was the first the League have staged for many years, and the League Two cup will follow this Saturday when Fenitons Development team face up against Whipton & Pinhoe Res.
