Exe topple the eagles

Eleven from eleven for St Thomas

INTERMEDIATE ACTION DIVISIONS 5-9

AFC Exe joined Elmore as Division Five leaders after beating their title rivals 2-0. However both are being shadowed by the University who beat Cranbrook United 3-1 . Alex Stone with the consolation, but it was a harder task than expected.
One other match in this division saw Dawlish United and Awliscombe United share the points from a 1-1 draw. Lewis O’Connor with the home goal, Jack Layzell for the visitors.

Eleven wins no dropped points now for Division Six table toppers St THomas Social Club, their latest success being 5-0 at home to second place Okehampton Argyle. Declan Vowden with a hat-trick and a Dean Voaden brace.
The University in third place won 7-2 at Devon Yeoman who still await a first win.
There was a crazy match at Bickleigh where it finished 4-4 against Kenn Valley United. Kenn led 2-0 at the break but a Kenn red card, sin bins for both teams, and Kenn ending the game with eight players. Goals for Kenn came from Jamie Sly 2, Ben McElroy and Phil White.
Uplyme won a close match at Central 1-0 to consolidate fourth place but delight at Witheridge where they beat Seaton Town 2-0 to register their second win.

The Division Seven leaders Starcross Dons retained their 100% record winning just 1-0 at a battling Cheriton Fitzpaine.
However Dolton Rangers won the big game at home to Morchard Bishop 3-0.
Golas galore in the other game played at Beacon Knights where Thorverton triumphed 4-3. Will Hawkins with a hat-trick and Darren Osman for the thors. Burnard Zachary with two goals and Alex Rowe on target for the home side.

Just three matches played in Division Eight but a mammoth 28 goals. Cranbrook United with the lions share as they ran out 10-3 at Tedburn St Mary. Dave Hernon 3, Sam Connell 2, Kye Steward 2, Jake Williams, Tyler Holcombe and Jack Wright getting the Cranbrook goals, Adam Bolt 2 and Brad Holland replying.
The University saw off the City Raiders 8-2, while at North Tawton it finished 3-2 to visiting Newton St Cyres. Fraser Boyle, Nathan Hubble and Adrian Selway for the Cyres, Richard Keast with both home goals.

Plenty of goals too in Division Nine but a shock for leaders City Raiders held to a 5-5 draw by Hatherleigh Town. Noah Northcott with a hat-trick for the Raiders, Ruben Northcott and Zak Squire also scoring.
Second place Exmouth Rovers managed to better Hemyock 3-1, Brandon Hodge, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Porter with the Rovers return, Kurtis Robbins for the Hems.
Whipton & Pinhoe were comfortable 6-1 winners against Starcross Dons, while Feniton and the Ex Dons shared six goals at Acland Park.
South Zeal came out 6-3 winners at Amory Green Rovers whose Leigh Haskins, Jack Mortimer and Ben Sumner found the garget. Scott Hooper with a hat-trick, Luke Jones 2 and Liam Benstead with the Zeal haul.

One Geary cup tie played saw the Heart of Oak sweep into the quarter finals with a 9-0 rout of Bow AAC.
