Exe v Otters cup final

First League final for over two decades

Last seasons Premier Division play off apart, the League will stage its first cup final for over two decades tonight (Thursday 19th) when AFC Exe face Otterton at Topsham Town Kick off 6.45pm for the League One tournament trophy. This is the Senior version introduced to give extra matches for teams whose season looked like ending early. The Otters have to be favourites as they are three divisions higher than their opponents, but it promises to be a close contest given the season AFC Exe have enjoyed.

The League Two final for Intermediate clubs is then on saturday between Whipton & Pinhoe Res and the Feniton Development team and is also at Topsham with a 3pm kick off.

However friday nights East Devon Senior Cup final due to take place at Crediton has been postponed, with the committee still deliberating on breaches of the rules. Cup secretary Graham Moore is hoping to get this resolved asap.
