FARWAY SEEK TO KNOCK OUT THE DEVON INTERMEDIATE CUP HOLDERS

PLUS ALL THE OTHER ACTION THIS SATURDAY

Huge match on saturday for Farway United as they prepare for their trip to Bovey Tracey Res in the Devon Senior cup. The South Devon League side are the reigning Intermediate cup holders and Farway were winners in 2020 so although the pair now up at Senior level it should still be some game.

However most dramas of the County cups were last weekend so it is back to mainly domestic action with several big contests in Premier. Current leaders Upottery are at Clyst Valley, no easy task there while reigning champions Alphington are at home to Lapford, Dropped points by either could see Winkleigh top of the table if they get the job done at Crediton Uniteds Lords Meadow. That would be quite something for the village team.
Big game for Colyton at the University Res who protect an unbeaten record.
Okehampton Argyle Res are hoping to break their duck with a good result against Sidmouth Town Res, while Elmore Res need to avoid defeat at home to Kentisbeare to get back on the positive points scale.
Sandford welcome Lyme Regis with both teams looking to consolidate a mid table slot.

Two big matches in Division One with leaders Wellington Res at East Budleigh, and second place St Martins with a very attractive duel at home against Teignmouth Res.

No matches in Division Two as most teams are doing battle in the Bill Slee cup. Top tie has to be at the KGV where Central welcome Beer Albion Res.

Just two matches in Division Three where Heavitree United could go top if they get the better of Halwill at the Junction.

Bickleigh will be seeking to preserve their 100% record at Colyton Res in their Division Four clash, and stretch their lead as most rivals are in Bill Slee cup action.

In Division Five leaders Starcross Dons host the University 7ths, but there is also a potential upset at Awliscombe United where they face St Martins Res.

Railway FC protect their Division Six 100% record in a big derby clash at Exeter Royals also at KGV.

Division Seven sees unbeaten Uplowman Athletic at home to Priory who are also going well,

Plenty of jostling for top spot in Division Eight, but South Zeal United Res and Alphington 3rds take time out to resolve a Geary cup slot with a place in the quarter finals at stake.
