First day of May round up

The two Premier titles took another change of direction over the Bank holiday weekend. Premier East leaders Feniton drew 2-2 at Chard Town, but then learned that their rivals Lyme Regis suffered a 5-3 reverse at Dawlish United. Paul Dowling and Aaron Pearse were the Fenny scorers. The Dawlish victory lifted them from the basement rung with star man Toto Whittle getting a hat-trick, Richard Gregory and Oliver Rackley-Botten with the other goals.
Lapford had their Premier West title ambitions dented by a goalless draw at Elmore, the other game in this section saw Chagford win a thriller at Newtown 4-3.

In One East Lyme Regis 2nds had better news with a 3-2 win at home to second place, the winner coming in the last minute from a Ryan Fifer penalty. Earlier Cody Bowditch put Lyme two up before two Budleigh penalties levelled out.
Champions Exmouth Rovers won their derby at Lympstone 2-0 and are aiming for a 40 points haul now if they win their last two matches.
The other match saw Otterton win a goal fest against Clyst Valley 5-4, home goals coming from Cameron Brown, Jamie Cardwell, Gareth Davies, Mark Dunne and Chris Swancott.
One West leaders Newton St Cyres were not in action so Winkleigh cut the gap to a point after a nerve-racking 5-4 win at Westexe Park Rangers. Toby Hide 2, Finley Crocker and Luke Andrews with the home goals.
Bow AAC kept their title hopes alive as they beat Alphington 4-2, Ryan Gibson-Heard 2, Adam Somers and Vince Grant on target.
Tedburn St Mary and Halwill drew 1-1 Henry Powell with the Teds goal.

After having points deducted Two East leaders Axminster Town still have a short way to go to nail the Two East title. They took a step closer with a 2-1 win against Exeter United, Lewis Waldy and Sam Winslade scoring, but rivals Ottery St Mary still in with a shout after their 6-0 midweek win against East Budleigh.
Just up the road Millwey Rise saw off Pinhoe 2-0, while Cranbrook impressed as they won 4-1 at East Budleigh, Thomas Taylor featuring with a hat-trick. Jon Elstone with the other goal.
Devon Yeoman share top spot in Two West after their 4-1 win at home to Bampton, but Hemyock sprang a big surprise winning 2-1 at Okehampton Argyle Dan Clark and Alex Montgomery with the goals, but the Okes are still in the running.

Dawlish United cling on to first place in Three East winning 4-2 at Awliscombe United, whose Adrian Maguire and Joe Mulhall were on target. However their big rivals Winchester thumped Cranbrook United 6-0 with Declan Vowden leading the scoring with a treble. Jake Alford, Callum Clarke and Jon Williams also scored.
Offwell Rangers and Devon Yeoman shared the points in the other match.
Bradninch stay clear leaders in Three West after a 3-1 win at Halwill, Curtis Goff, Matt Reed and Ryan Trump with a goal each.
Second place Cullompton Rangers had a tougher ask at Witheridge but edged in 3-2. Elliot Perrott with a double, Karen Rupesh scoring.
Central beat Elmore 5-1, and Broadclyst just pipped Chagford 2-1

Great win for Kenn Valley United the Division Four Central leaders 3-2 against their main rivalst Thorverton. Callum Finniemore and Jamie Farrell had them two up, Josh Hole wiped that lead away with two goals, before Jamie Sly their top scorer snatched the winner.
Third place Beacon Knights were held 1-1 by Tedburn St Mary, Alex Rowe scoring for the Knights, Keith Sullivan for the Teds.
Priory won their city derby against City Raiders 4-3, and Cranbrook United also won 2-1 at home to Newton St Cyres.
Four East pacemakers Ottery St Mary innched nearer the title after winning 4-1 at home to Cranbrook United. Joe Broadbent with a hat-trick and James Fanson scoring.
Falcons in second place had a much tougher victory at Lympstone but got their 2-1 with Johnny Lacey and Tony Radford scoring.
There was a glut of goals at HT Dons who won their match 6-5 against Otterton whose Rian Hill scored a hat-trick.
No easing up for Four West leaders Okehampton Argyle as they beat Bickleigh 4-0.
Witheridge their nearest rivals won 3-2 in midweek at AFC Morhard Bishop who recovered with a 7-1 win against Westexe Park Rangers. Adam Bell with a hat-trick and singles from Joe Gorman, Josh Doe, Jamie Banks-Pryor and Liam Tucker.
Dolton Rangers were 4-3 winners at Lapford, Will Folland, Lewis Heywood, Declan Hutchings and Jake Sillivant sharing the goals.
