Great day in the Intermediate cup for Joma teams
A goal every six minutes at Feniton against Hatherleigh, now thats entertainment, which was just two more goals than when they met back in August.
St Thomas Social Club, Falcons and Starcross Dons are through to the quarter finals of the DEVON INTERMEDIATE CUP after close victories. Falcons booked their place winning 2-1 at home to Cheriton Fitzpaine, Bryan Mawson and Finlay Newell with the winners goals, while St Thomas won 1-0 at Teign Village of the South Devon League. The Dons complete the trio after a 2-0 success at Georgeham & Croyde of the North Devon League.
Thorverton are out after crashing 6-0 at Park Rangers while Bickleigh will have to try again as their tie at AFC Dumnoni in North Devon was abandoned due to a home player suffering a serious medical concern.
Only one match played in DIVISION FIVE but saw the University account for Dawlish United 5-0. Ollie James with two goals, Tom Youngman, Toby Berry and Ryan Smith with the others.
The Universitys DIVISION SIX team also had a good day winning 5-1 at Central thanks to a Lachlan Baker hat-trick, and aces from Harry Kent and Matt Phillips.
However the result of the day came at Uplyme where they toppled the leaders Okehampton Argyle 3-0.
Both matches played in DIVISION SEVEN ended all square. Cheriton Fitzpaine and Dolton Rangers finished 1-1, while over at Beacon Knights their match aginst Otterton resulted 2-2. Thomas Hocking and Adam Galliford for the home side, Josh Fuller and Tom Sickelmore for their visitors.
A major upset in DIVISION EIGHT as leaders Whipton & Pinhoe are humbled 4-0 at the Heart of Oak.
That will have cheered second place Cranbrook United who made no mistake winning 3-0 at the University with Kye Stewart 2 and Jack Wright on target. George Rycroft had a great match for the college.
Exeter Panthers ran up an 8-1 win at North Tawton, with Nathan Hopkins slamming five goals. The other three came from John Paul de Kock, Iordan Constantino, and Owen Lester.. Ian King netted a penalty consolation for the Tawts.
Bow AAC won a tight match against Newton St Cyres 4-3, Nick Foster, Nathan Hubble and Lewis Mooney with the Cyres goals.
Millwey Rise and City Raiders finished 2-2, Tyler Langdon and Charlie Ricketts with the away side goals.
City Raider seond eleven the DIVISION NINE leaders enjoyed another good day winning 7-2 at home to South Zeal United. Jack Cole 2, Zak Squire, Caden Goodwin, Niall Burland, Noah and Ruben Northcott with the others.
Whipton & Pinhoe proved too strong for Hemyock seeing them off 5-0, and Exmouth Rovers won 4-0 at home to Starcross Dons with Kevin Pitt 2, Brandon Hodge and Chris Porter scoring.

The most remarkable result of the day came at Feniton where they won 9-7 against Hatherleigh Town. A double hat-trick for Rhylee Acott and only a routine treble for John Phillips. Just to add to the story it completed the double for Feniton as they won 10-4 at Hatherleigh earlier this season.
