St Martins warming up in the sunny mountains at Teign Village
Starcross Dons did their best to halt Division Five leaders Heart of Oak but a single goal kept the city team six points clear of the pack.
That includes Bickleigh who won their trip to the University 3-1 with Ollie Elsworthy netting twice and Tom Head once.
Millwey Rise also won 4-2 at home to Awliscombe United whose Lewis Blackwell and Jacob Rose replied.
Axmouth United remain rooted to the bottom after going down 5-0 at home to Whipton & Pinhoe. Andrew Felton with a hat-trick, Harry Fawkes and Dave Hurford scoring for the winners.
The bright sunshine at Teign Village failed to help their cause against St Martins who travelled home with a 6-0 win under their belts. Ben Smith with a hat-trick, two goal Dan Heagney and Aiden Rylands with the Saints goals, but big plus for the Quarryman secretary Paul Edwards making his first appearance this season.

Just one game played in Division Six but saw Central defeat Cheriton Fitzpaine 7-0. Indie Bennett and Jack Phuddiphatt both scored twice, singles coming from Jamie Rowland, Adam Smith and Ryan Toghill with the goals.
Division Seven leaders Exmouth Rovers worked hard to beat Exeter University 2-0 but goals from Paddy McGuinness and Chris Porter did the trick.
Otterton were due to travel to Priory whose ground was unplayable, so they switched to Stantyaway and it paid off with a 6-1 advantage. Joe Poulten with his usual hat-trtick and singles from Kai Champion, Luke Smith and Ryan Wright. Priory did get one goal from Anthony Holwell to lighten their day.
Exeter Royals stay third after their 3-0 win at Phoenix United, Aarian Leisk, Hayden Beck and Fin McGill with the goals.
City Raiders were 5-0 winners at home to Newton St Cyres with Chris Murphy, Jordan Garbutt, Cody Lines, Toby McGauley and James Pearse all netting once. Zak Bennett had a top game for the Cyres.
4-1 win at home for Whipton & Pinhoe against Hatherleigh Town, Nathan Phillips 2, Ben Leighton and Drew Coles with the winners goals.
Second place Tedburn St Mary were leading 3-2 at North Tawton when the referee abandoned the match. The League will need to adjudicate on the result after getting reports from both Division Eight teams.
South Zeal United were able to move into third place following their 4-2 win against Bow AAC. Ethan Lambourne 2, Gareth Osman and Rhys Morgan getting the goals, Mark Budd and Kieran Cope replying.
Sadly Bampton were unable to get a full side out to host Starcross Dons so no game took place.
