Kentisbeare face Lapford at home tonight (thursday 16th) with the Premier division runners up trophy technically still at stake. Victory for Kentisbeare would bring them level on points with Lapford, but their hosts have a far bigger goal difference and also another match to play, so that it would take something remarkable for Kentisbeare to turn things around. However they have hope and I know will give it their best shot.

Exeter University 3rds became Division One champions on saturday with their 6-1 victory at Bow AAC and ended their season with a remarkable 9-4 victory at home to Hatherleigh Town. St Martins who led the way for most of the season finished as runners up.

There is every chance three teams will end the season at the top of Division Two with the same number of points but until friday nights result between Farway United and third place Westexe Park Rangers is resolved, nothing is definite. Current leaders Exeter University 4ths and second place Central FC will be champions and runners up respectively unless Westexe can knock up a cricket score at Eastlee Park in their last match.

Witheridge have already won the Division Three crown and Broadclyst are runners up, Bickleigh are Division Four champions but the runners up slot is still up for grabs and could be settled tonight if Honiton manage at least a point at home to Bickleigh or the University 6ths drop points at Dunkeswell.

The Division Five crown is still in the offing and wont be resolved until tuesday night when second place Starcross Dons need just a draw at home to Tops United to deny current leaders St Martins Res whose season has already ended.

Railway FC are still celebrating the Division Six title but second place is still unsettled. Otterton in third place need five points from their remaining three matches to dislodge Ex Dons whose season has already ended.

Uplowman Athletic have already been crowned as Division Seven champions and University 8ths as runners up, and Division Eight ended with Alphington 3rds as champions and Heavitree United Res as runners up.

In the local cups AFC Morchard Bishop take on the University 4ths tonight in the Bill Slee cup semi final, then on saturday the Geary cup final between the University 8ths and Uplowman United is being played at Minster Park Exeter. Kick off is at 2pm.
