Kentisbeare stole the show with a 1-1 draw at home to Premier champions Alphington, which means early leaders Colyton who were without a game stay two points clear.
Sandford are into the top three after their narrow 2-1 win at Elmore, but the team really with a smile on their face are Winkleigh. In Premier for the first time they are unbeaten after three outings and a 2-2 draw in their derby against Crediton make for a very satisfying start.
Following two heavy defeats, Lyme Regis steadied the ship with a 2-1 success at Lapford, while Clyst Valley opened their season with a very early kick off winning 3-1 against an Okehampton side eager to race back down the A30 to see their first team in FA cup action. Sadly for the Okes they lost 2-1 but a gallant effort.

St Martins head Division One after a convincing 5-1 victory against Bow AAC, but the mid Devon side hit the woodwork a number of times and played their part in a cracking match.
A most entertaining match was at East Budleigh where they won for the first time 5-4 against Teignmouth.
Newton St Cyres won their trip to Hatherleigh Town in the other game played.

Farway United clung on to top place in Division Two but dropped their first points held 1-1 at Exmouth Spartans.
Hot on their heels are Beer Albion who won 1-0 for the second time.

Broadclyst lead Division Three on goal difference after their nap hand against East Budleigh, whose neighbours Budleigh Salterton were winning 4-1 at Lyme Regis to share top spot.

42 goals scored through just five matches in Division Four with Bickleigh taking the limelight 11-1 winners at home to Elmore.
Uplyme in second place won 6-4 at Colyton, and Cullompton beat Dunkeswell Rovers 6-5.
The Heart of Oak also hit six but without reply against Chagford.

Just one game in the depleted Division Five Starcross Dons too strong for Millwey Rise winning 11-1

Bampton set the pace in Division Six after a 3-1 win against a Beacon Knights side seeking their first point.
Whipton & Pinhoe topped the scoring here as they saw off Axmouth United 10-0.

North Tawton and Westexe Park Rangers share top billing in Division Seven. The Tawts won 5-2 at home to Tedburn St Mary while Westexe beat Priory 4-2.

Heavitree United lead the Division Eight field despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Bow AAC. Alphington move withon a point after their 3-1 win at Millwey Rise.

Meanwhile Sidmouth Town Res were handed a walkover in the Sportslighting Devon Premier cup round 1 after their Plymouth opponenets Hooe Rovers failed to show up.

In the Somerset Mens Cup Wellington are out after drawing 3-3 at Welton Rovers and then losing on penalties, while Chard Town who were due to face Portishead forfeited the tie.
