Lapford crowned Devon area champions

The Mid Devon side are Throgmorton champions cup winners 2021.

Lapford beat The Windmill of the South Devon League to win the Throgmorton Champions cup on Saturday at Coach Road Newton Abbot. The Devon & Exeter League Premier champions won the closest of finals 1-0 thanks to a Harry Leach goal and with it the £750 prize as a reward. The Plymouth side had their moments but their second major County final defeat in recent  years left them hugely disappointed, although they receive a £500 consolation runners up reward.
