Lapford open three point cushion

With Thorverton having had their midweek match called off and with no saturday fixture, joint Premier leaders Lapford were able to open a three point margin wih a 2-1 success at home to Kentisbeare but it was no walkover. Roger Hill with a brilliant winner after Chris Burrow had the Lapford opener. Kents were in the game thanks to an own goal, and rated their Jake Bishop as man of the match.
Third place Beer Albion also won 2-1 at home to Okehampton Argyle but they too had to dig deep for the points.
Colyton and the University shared a 3-3 draw, while Lyme Regis scoring legend Fred Parsons snaffled another brace, thats eight goals in the last four outings, as they also won 2-1 at Ottery St Mary. Connor Swingler was the Otters scorer.
Dawlish United beat Axminster Town 4-0 with Andrew Kelly notching twice. Rhodri Morgan and Tom Wills added singles.
