Thorverton new Premier leaders
PREMIER DIVISION
With Beer Albion occupied on County cup glory, Thorverton took over as Premier leaders thanks to a 3-1 win at Dawlish United. Goals from Lee Radford 2 and Jake Ebdon for the thors.
In the other Premier game played yjr University also won 3-1 at home to Lyme Regis, Joe Bond with the Lyme consolation.
SENIOR DIVISIONS
Hatherleigh Town celebrated their first win of the season to surprise visiting Wellington 2-1 in the only Division One game played.
Still no stopping Division Two leaders Beer Albion but they cut it fine to beat the University 2-1. Reece Best with both goals.
In the other game played Dunkeswell Rovers doubled their points with a 3-0 win at home to Otterton. Steve Curry with a double and Josh Cann for the delighted Dunks.
Feniton came up with a shock 4-3 win against Division Three leaders Devon Yeomen which was their first defeat. Lyme Regis were also surprised held 2-2 at home by Honiton Town, Zak Harrison and Robbie Fowler with the Lyme goals but they also fluffed a penalty.
Pinhoe won 2-1 at Exeter United in the city derby.
After their dismal start to the season Culm United are suddenly on fire in Division Four, their 4-1 win at East Budleigh their third victory on the bounce. Chris White 2, Phil Farrar and Ricky Lee with the goals.
A Luke Thurlow hat-trick was the feature for Millwey Rise as they toppled Colyton 5-1. Nathan Womersley and Shane Featherstone also in the goals.
South Zeal United won 3-1 against Cullompton Rangers after traing at the break. Darius Jacobs, Connor Mills and Ryan Sweeney with a goal apiece.
INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS
Cranbrook United and Dawlish United shared the points from a 1-1 draw in the only Division Five game played. Parry-Jean Jarman with the Cranbrook goal.
Kenn Valley recovered their winning ways in Division Six despite a weakened side edging Seaton Town 3-2. Jamie Sly with a blistering winner after earlier goals from Jamie Farrell and Kerry Price.
Sidmouth Town clocked up their first win in Division Seven 4-1 at Beacon Knights whose only goal came from Brandon Toleman.
Priory won 3-1 against Bradninch with Ben Chafer, Brandon Hicks and Ben Robinson goals, a similar victory for Dolton Rangers at Otterton.
Six matches completed in Division Eight including the 10-1 win by Whipton & Pinhoe at North Tawton. Half the tally coming from Andrew Felton, Lewis Brown with a pair, the others from Cole and Harry Fawkes, and Jack Ronchetti.
Cranbrook United in second place won 3-1 at Bow AAC, Sam Connell, Kye Stewart and Jack Wright with the goals.Heart of Oak were pushed close by Millwey Rise before getting home 4-3, Jack Bennett 2 and Wayne Jenkins with the visitors haul. Highly competitive match from my bicycle viewpoint at KGV.
Luke Blakey starred with a hat-trick as Exeter Panthers won 4-1 at home to Newton St Cyres.
Westexe Park Rangers triumphed 4-0 at the University, Joe Blackham with a hat-trivk, Terry Singleton with the fourth.
Tedburn St Mary beat City Raiders 5-1, Adam Bolt getting a brace, with singles from Dan Fox, Brad Holland and Dan Stevens.
Just two matches played in Division Nine, City Raiders strengthing their top spot winning 4-1 at home to Starcross Dons, Niall Burland and Jake Langmaid getting two goals each.
Exmouth Rovers won the other match 3-1 at Feniton with Harry David, Colin Gourlay and Brandon Hodge on target.
