League season over for Cheriton and Hatherleigh
Divisions Five to Nine round up
Division Five Cheriton Fitzpaine became one of two teams to complete their league programme but sadly for them it ended in a 3-1 defeat at home to Dawlish United whose Kieran Martin 2 and Jack Cable goals spolit the Cheriton party.
Meanwhile AFC Exe moved back as joint leaders after a 3-1 win at home to Amory Green Rovers, sharing top spot with the University who were without a fixture.
The other game played saw Awliscombe United and Upottery graft out a 1-1 draw.
Devon Yeoman produced a major surprise in Division Six with just their second win as they triumphed 5-2 at high flying Exeter University. Caspian Aplin, Shane England, Mike Back, Oliver Thomas and Oliver Saunders sharing the Yeoman goals.
Falcons also caused an upset as they took out third place Uplyme 2-0.
Only one match played in Division Seven which saw second place AFC Morchard Bishop keep their slender title hopes alive winning 4-1 at Priory. Chris Andrews 2, Adam Bell and Alfie Eggletonn with the Morchard goals.
Plenty of action in Division Eight but not at the top end. Pick of the results was at Millwey Rise where they sent Newton St Cyres packing 4-0. Ash Doble, Ben Roslin, Jack Bennett and an own goal for the Axminster men.
City Raiders destroyed North Tawton 5-0, Jack Godfrey holing out twice and singles coming from Noah Northcott, William Pye and John King.
The University were 5-1 winners at Bow AAC whose Jamie Jackman provided some consolation, and Westexe Rovers scraped in 3-2 against Tedburn St Mary whose Dan Fox and Dan Stevens earned some respite.
Hatherleigh Town also completed their league action in Division Nine with an 8-0 rout of Amory Green Rovers.
Whipton & Pinhoe came from 5-1 down at the break to beat South Zeal 6-3, Ben Turner, Ben Leighton and Tommy Frost all scoring twice. Ryan Sweeney notched a pair for Zeal whose Jimmy Simons also scored.
Starcross Dons beat Feniton 5-2 in the other match played.
