New season starts tonight August 19
Matches in all divisions on saturday
Welcome to the new 2022 2023 season which kicks off tonight with four matches, and then tomorrow a programme of just over 30 league dates.
This evening in Division One Lympstone make the trip to Chard Town Res, and Upottery stage a second Division One match with Topsham Town Res as their guests.
Clyst Valley take on Exmouth Spartans in the only Division 2 match, and later tonight Elmore’s third team have a mid Devon derby against Culm United.
On saturday there will be a debut for Crediton United Res who have reached Premier for the first time ever and a tough ask at Ottery St Mary Res who are hoping to improve on last season.
Clyst Valley who have returned to the league after dropping back from the Devon Football League start their season at home to Dawlish United, and that is the same situation for Alphington whose Premier team kick off at Kentisbeare.
The Reserve teams of Sidmouth Town and Elmore face each other at Manstone Lane in the other Premier game on show.
Elsewhere Teign Village who have joined us from the South Devon League are back with us after an absence of nearly a century, and square up against Cranbrook United in a Division Five tussle.
In the same division the Heart of Oak make their debut at the Exeter College ground at Countess Wear against Millwey Rise Res.
New boys Phoenix United kick off their Division Seven campaign at home to Hatherleigh Town Res and finally in Division Eight Farway United Res make their first ever appearance as a Devon & Exeter League side when they welcome Hemyock Res to Eastlee Park.
