Otters breach the fort

First points get Ottery on a positive note

Ottery St Mary stole the show in Premier with their first win of the season and in real style at Lyme Regis. Ottery were two up in no time and four ahead before the Davey Fort side managed to save some grace with two second half goals both from Fred Parsons. For a very happy Ottery Jake Boyland struck twice, Jake Heagarty once and manager Rikki Pitter with the fourth.

With the top two Lapford and Thorverton out of action, Beer Albion edged their way back into contention with a 1-0 victory against Elmore. Giles Basson with the all important goal for the fishermen who draw level with Kentisbeare who were involved in cup action staking their place in the quarter finals of the East Devon Senior cup from a tough tie at first division Chard Town where it ended 2-1. Jake Searle with both goals, Rhys Cruse getting their man of the match.

Elsewhere Okehampton Argyle eased away from the relegation zone winning 3-1 at Dawlish United, and Sidmouth Town pocketed a good point as they shared a 1-1 draw with Colyton. Ewan Anderson with the vikings goal.
