A rare draw for Sandford, in fact their first this season in Premier, but a big one as they held high flying Kentisbeare 3-3. Sandford led 3-2 at the break but gave away a penalty converted by Jake Searle after first half goals from Jack Bishop and Bradley Riggs pulled Kentisbeare back into the game.
Big 5-0 win for the University at Okehampton Argyle to go clear in second place. Scorers for the college were Zach Mackay 2, Harvey Berry, Tom Bagwell and Matt Connor.
Sidmouth Town crossed the Exe estuary at win 5-1 at Dawlish United in the other Premier game to survive.
The big game in Division One between third place Wellington and leaders Upottery fell foul of the weather but that was the only casualty. The University made up some ground on the top three with a 2-0 win at Beer Albion, Hamish Harrison-Cushing and Max Tym with the goals, but Chard Town went under 2-1 at Lympstone whose season is really picking up. Joel Foster and Billy Worthington with the Lympets goals.
Bow AAC beat Teignmouth 7-3 in a highly entertaining clash Josh Coles in the limelight with four goals. Billy Conabeare, Ryan Gibson-Heard and Callum Stone with one each.
East Budleigh surprised Newtown 4-2 with Joe Bowden, Hugo Demtre, Jack Greenslade and Bradley Hill sharing the goals, while Hatherleigh Town edged their basement clash against Newton St Cyres 1-0 who are now adrift on the bottom rung.
Massive 4-3 victory for St Martins in Division Two as they toppled leaders Exeter University 4-3. Liam Stronge with a hat-trick and Joe Winsor getting the Minster Park teams goals.
Tipton St John took a mighty leap upwards after hitting six past Dunkeswell Rovers without reply, but one of the days top results came at Exmouth Spartans where lowly Farway United came away with a point from a 3-3 draw. Tom Olive, Jake Lee and Harry Leish with the visitors haul.
Just three matches played in Division Three which saw Heavitree United bounce back to top with a 1-0 win at Broadclyst.
The University won 4-2 against Bampton to move up to second as former leaders Hemyovk had to call off their game at home to Witheridge.
Seaton Town stay on the brink of the leaders after their 3-2 success at Chagford.
The Division Four leaders Exeter University had to pull out all the stops to beat a lively Exeter United 6-5. Joe Gillett 2, Oliver Williams 2, Tom Roberts and an own goal getting the college noses ahead. A Fady Benattayallam treble, Woo Kim and Khettache Badhouane goals for United.
Alphington were too strong for Elmore where they won 5-1, Chris Powell 2, Owen Sullivan 2 and Liam Sullivan withe the Alphas goals.
Hat-trick for Ben Wilks at East Budleigh where his team won 7-4 against Cheriton Fitzpaine. Nathan Penhallrick 2, Dan Atkinson and Will Price with the others.
Culm United edged Sidmouth Town 3-2 completing a division where 41 goals were scored in the five matches played.
