Raiders and Buzzards try again in County cup
Premier leaders at Washbrook meadows
SATURDAYS BIG MATCHES
City Raiders and Bickleigh replay their Devon Intermediate cup quarter final clash at KGV on saturday after their meeting last week was ruled out by the Devon FA. The two teams finished level at 1-1 after 90 minutes but the referee played extra time instead of going to penalties, so the pair go again.
Meanwhile Premier leaders Alphington are hoping to take another big stride towards the title when they visit Ottery St Mary and all their main challengers are in action as well. Kentisbeare are at Dawlish United, while the University may have the toughest task when they visit Crediton United still smarting from their seven goal hammering last week by the Alphas.
Lyme Regis make the short trip along the Jurassic coast to Sidmouth Town, and a big game for Okehampton Argyle and Sandford who are both looking for points to clamber away from danger.
Division One leaders Upottery stand to open a five point lead if they win at East Budleigh, as second place Winkleigh have the day off, while the University could take over the Division Two leadership if they get maximum points at home to Tedburn St Mary with current leaders St Martins also on a day off.
Three Bill Slee cup ties to watch out for at Cranbrook v AFC Exe, Westexe v Alphington and Witheridge v Central, and St Martins 2nds tackling Beacon Knights in the Football Express cup.
