Lapford came out as winners in Premiers match of the day at Beer, but Thorverton were in no mood to relinquish top spot. In fact it was Ryan Moody on fire with five goals as Thorverton demolished Dawlish United 7-0. Mark Broome and an own goal completed the tally.
Lapford won at the Albion 2-1 with Josh Phillips and Mark Tucker getting their goals, but a good and very lively crowd at Furzebrake witnessed a thriller with sin bins, yellow cards, red cards and a saved penalty by Lapfords Matt Parsell at 1-1 in the second half. all adding to the excitement.
Meanwhile Kentisbeare racked up a 8-0 victory at Sidmouth Town with Jake Searle getting a hat-trick, Lee Riggs netting twice and the rest coming from Luke Abrahams, Max Atifeh and George Fawell.
The University were also big winners 7-0 at home to Okehampton Argyle, Will Bray grabbing a hat-trick and singles from Seb Lawson, Matt Connor, Zack Mackay and Kieran Clayton.
Completing the Premier programme Colyton won their big derby against Axminster Town 4-0 with Billy Knox 2, Mark Pearse and Callum Somers on the mark.
