First title decided as Rovers wrap up One East

Exmouth Rovers have clinched the first honour as the season rolls out its final days, their 4-1 victory at Clyst Valley enough to wrap up the One East title. Then with East Budleigh crashing 6-1 at Teignmouth, that left Rovers as champions.

After losing their top slot and their unbeaten record in midweek from a 3-2 defeat at home to Lyme Regis, Feniton regained it with a 4-2 success at home to Dawlish United. In midweek Lyme came from 2-1 down to win at Acland Park in injury time, goals from Dan Randell, Fred Parsons and Brad Rowe. Fenny bounced back on saturday to beat Dawlish United 4-2 Oscar Walsh on the mark twice including a penalty, Morgan Pearce and Cody Tratt-Skinner once.
Premier West leaders Thorverton saw off Hatherleigh Town 5-1Harry Drew, Jake Ebdon, Josh Hole, Ryan Moody and Kieran Smith with a goal apiece, but they cant shake off Lapford 4-2 winners at Chagford. Dom Stapleton, Gavin Weeks, Ben and Mark Tucker all finding the net.
The other match played saw Alphington share a goalless draw against Elmore.

The focus in One East was on the top two matches which resolved the title, but one other game was played Lyme Regis winning 2-0 against Lympstone still seeking their first victory. Josh Daines and Rhys Evans were the Lyme scorers.
Newton St Cyres closed up the gap on One West leaders Alphington but only by a point from a 1-1 draw against Bow AAC. Josh Coles with the visitors goal.
Westexe Park Rangers and Halwill also shared the points from a 2-2 draw. George Harvey and Chris Tolly with the home goals, Carlo Chandler and Charlie Richards for the away side.
Winkleigh won the other game played 4-2 at home to Tedburn St Mary

Any hopes Ottery St Mary had of catching Two East leaders Axminster Town, were more or less ended by a shock 1-0 defeat at Millwey Rise. That leaves the tigers needing just one win from their last three matches to claim the title.
Cranbrook in third place ran out 8-0 winners against Feniton, Jordan Wilknson with a hat-trick leading the way. Dan Cheadle 2, Jake Scrivens, Mark Pearse and Sam Steer had the other goals.
Pinhoe were elated with their 3-2 win at Exeter United, Dan Green with two of the goals and Ty Fisher also scoring. Adam Lalana and Harrison Tarrant replied.
Second place Devon Yeoman closed the gap at the top of Two West with a 4-3 win at Bampton but it was far from easy.
Okehampton Argyle kept pace with a 4-1 success at Culm United, Stuart Entwhistle, Steve Kinsey, Ryan Lee and Ed Squire sharing the goals.
South Zeal United celebrated their midweek cup delight with a 5-0 tonking for Hemyock, Connor Mills with a hat-trick, Liam Benstead and George Walsh with the goals.

Winchester stay alongside 3 East leaders Dawlish United who sent Cranbrook United packing 4-0, after their 3-1 win at Offwell Rangers. Matt Baker, Ross Carstairs and Jackson Maloney with a goal apiece for the Winches who have two games in hand.
Devon Yeoman climbed off the bottom rung as they celebrated their first win, 2-1 at home to mid table Topsham Town.
Second place Cullompton Rangers missed the chance to really close in on inactive 3 West leaders Bradninch, when held to a 1-1 draw at Elmore.
Broadclyst also missed out losing 3-2 against Central whose Archie Graham, Max Lockyer and Will Purchall goals caused the upset.
Witheridge won 3-1 at Chagford, Dan Koita 2 and Tony Vigus with the Withy goals.
Halwill and Amory Green Rovers drew 3-3, Chris Dunn, Darren and Shane Heale getting the visitors goals.

Leaders Kenn Valley United got back on the winning trail in Four Central with a resounding 7-3 win at Exeter Panthers. Jamie Sly 3, Phil White 2, Jamie Farrell and Ben McElroy scoring.
However Thorverton dropped vital points from a 3-3 draw with City Raiders whose Nathan Ziff 2 and Luke Gresham were their scorers.
Beacon Knights enjoyed an impressive 3-0 win at Tedburn St Mary, Zack Burnard 2 and George Dennis with the goals.
Newton St Cyres and Whipton & Pinhoe shared eight goals, Andrew Felton 2, Lewis Brown and Charlie Way with the Whipton share.
Ottery St Mary opened a six point cushion as Four East leaders thanks to a 3-2 win at HT Dons but it was close.
Falcons suffered their second reverse 2-1 at home to Dawlish United who are now hot on their heels.
Bradninch won the basement match against Exmouth Town 3-2, Lawrence Clark, Will Jones and Matt Reed scoring.
Otterton and Lympstone shared a derby 1-1 draw, Matt Lidstone netting the home goal.
The big surprise in Four West was a 2-1 defeat for leaders Okehampton Argyle at Bickleigh, who close within a point of the leaders, as do Witheridge 5-3 winners against North Tawton. Joe Badcock 2, Quinton Smith 2 and Will Hamill on target for Withy.
Dolton Rangers enjoyed a 4-1 win at Amory Green Rovers Declan Hutchings 2, Dan Stafford-Loxley and James Avery with their goals.
Lapford beat Westexe Park Rangers 5-0, Eli Rous with a hat-trick, Ashley Cann and Luca Taylor-Hayden with the goals.
