LATEST ROUND UP

The week was dominated by the Devon County cups successes for our teams against higher ranked opponents. Dawlish United, Feniton, and Kentisbeare celebrated getting into the second round of the Sportslighting Premier cup, Winkleigh winning at Torrington in the Firewatch Senior cup, and Chagford made it into the Intermediate cup against HT Dons. The draws have all been made for the second round and can be seen on this website.
One Devon Senior tie moved to saturday saw South Zeal United win 5-3 at Bampton, Connor Mills with a hat-trick, Harry Tickner and Rhys Holland with aces. Zeal now paired with Exeter United.

PREMIER DIVISIONS
After their midweek cup delight the shine came off a little for Kentisbeare on saturday as they went down 2-1 at home to Chard Town in the only Premier East match played. Goals for the Somerset team came from Toby Pike and Billy Sheahan.
However much more activity in Premier West with Lapford stealing the limelight beating Newtown 5-3. Chris Burrow, Dom Stapleton, also Ben, Dan and Mark Tucker with a goal apiece.
Leaders Thorverton too good for Chagford winning 5-1 and likewise five scorers, Lee Radford, Ben Stevens, Mark Broome, Jake Ebdon and Josh Hole.

FIRST DIVISIONS
One East leaders Exmouth Rovers won their big derby match against against second place East Budleigh 3-1 to extend lead to nine points.
Third place Otterton lost a thriller to their nearest rivals Clyst Valley 4-3, the star of the show 16 year old Vinnie Brockington with a hat-trick and Dave Fox with the other goal.
Lympstone and Dunkeswell Rovers shared a goalless draw.
In One West just one game played but saw Westexe Park Rangers three down at Bow in fifteen minutes but recovering to win 5-3. George Mackerness with a treble, Toby Hide and Brad Davey with singles.

SECOND DIVISIONS
Axminster Town motored on as Two East leaders as they sent Pinhoe packing 7-0, but second place Ottery St Mary have not yet given up and clocked up a 5-1 derby victory against Feniton. Riki Pitter with a hat-trick, Tony Cox and Matt Ayres with one each.
Cranbrook United enjoyed a 4-1 success at Exeter United, Joe Byrne and Jordan Wilkinson both getting doubles, while East Budleigh won 3-1 at home to Millwey Rise.
In Two West Devon Yeoman moved into second place after they won 2-0 at Hemyock, ahead of Okehampton Argyle beaten 2-1 at leaders Central. Ryan Gross with the Okey goal.

THIRD DIVISIONS
Winchester retained their 100% record in 3 East with a 4-1 win at Awliscombe whose Rob Luscombe scored his first goal this season, but remain second as leaders Dawlish United saw off Topsham Town 3-0. Scorers for Winchester were Callum Clarke 2, Declan Vowden and Chris Down.
Offwell Rangers won the other match played 3-0 at Devon Yeoman
Cullompton Rangers closed the gap on the top two in 3 West winning 3-0 at Chagford. Aaron Marks, Brendan Cherry and Elliot Perrott with the Cully goals.
Halwill much too strong for Elmore winning 5-0, but a much closer contest at Witheridge where the home team edged it 2-1 against Central.

FOURTH DIVISIONS
Kenn Valley United the Central leaders finally had their 100% record blown away at Newton St Cyres whose Will Davies and Jeff Finn found the net.
Thorverton closed the gap after their 4-2 victory at Whipton & Pinhoe. James Vanstone with a hat-trick, Nathan Marks with the other goal.
Beacon Knights whipped Priory 5-2 City Raiders won a close game at Exeter Panthers 2-1, while Tedburn St Mary and Cranbrook United shared the points.
A first ever defeat for Falcons in 4 East at HT Dons, and admit but for keeper Elliot Richards it could have been far worse.
Otterton happy with a 5-1 win at home to neighbours Exmouth Town, while Dawlish United triumphed 5-2 at Bradninch whose Steve Boyce scored their consolation pair.
Okehampton Argyle the 4th West leaders beat Lapford 5-0, but Bickleigh also won 3-0 at home to Witheridge to keep pace.
Dolton Rangers racked up an impressive 9-2 win against Amory Green Rovers, Jake Sillifant getting four of the goals.
Westexe Park Rangers and Morchard Bishop ground out a goalless draw.
