The oldest West Country FA cup team end Fort Davey hopes
Lyme hit for six at Sturminster
PREMIER ACTION
The first ever meeting in Premier between neighbours Sandford and Crediton United Res saw the Lords meadow team come out on top 3-0. It was a big win for Kirton as they are well behind with their fixtures and their current mid table position is deceiving to their top half rivals.
However it is Alphington steaming towards the title and their latest success was a 4-1 return at Dawlish United who sadly for them continue to prop up the table.
Shock of the day came at Washbrook meadows where Ottery St Mary checked the winning streak of second place Clyst Valley with a 1-1 draw.
Not a bad day for the lower teams notably Okehampton Argyle although beaten 4-0 by Kentisbeare did enough to suggest they are on the up.
The University are up to third place after their 3-0 victory at Colyton.
Lyme Regis hopes of reaching the semi finals of the Dorset & Somerset Senior trophy were scuppered away to Sturminster United the oldest West Country team to play in the FA cup. The home side in great form ran out 6-0 winners.
