THE WEATHER STILL PICKING OFF FIXTURES BUT STILL SOME MAJOR GAMES ON

SATURDAY MARCH 16

The continuing wet weather is beginning to winkle out more and more of this weekends programme, and that includes two of the six Premier clashes due to take place. However the huge clash at Colyton where they have arranged for their meeting with second place Alphington is at the 3G Axe Valley ground so looks on.
Fourth place Winkleigh still unbeaten at home host fifth place Lapford, the University Res welcome Lyme Regis (now postponed), and Clyst Valley are at home to Elmore Res eager to get their first victory.

With Division One leaders St Martins on a day off, the University 3rds could go top if they get the better of their hosts Teignmouth Res.
Dawlish United suffered their eighth home defeat in midweek, but still have designs on ending this bleak spell if they can get a positive result at home to Hatherleigh Town.

Central FC the Division Two pacemakers will still be top even if they slip up against Seaton Town.

Lyme Regis Res did have a massive task at home to Division Three leaders Witheridge who following last weeks first defeat at second place Broadclyst would  not want a repeat result, but news  now received that the fixture has been postponed.
Broadclyst complete their home programme against Heavitree United and if they topple their visitors would have won all eleven on their own patch.

Division Four leaders Bickleigh have postponed their meeting at home to Heart of Oak, second place Uplyme have no game, so both Honiton Town Res and the University 6th could gain ground if they win their hame games against strugglers Chagford and Elmore 3rds respectively.

Neither of the top two in Division Five are in action but a chance for Upottery Res to cut back some of the huge gap with a win at Tops United, who in turn could climb off the basement rung if they spring a surpirse.

Otterton could take over as Division Six leaders if they win at Cheriton Fitzpaine, but their hosts have a good home record.

The big game in Division Seven is between the University 8ths and City Raiders Res where a win for either side would mean they go top.

Another huge clash in Division Eight between leaders Alphington 3rds and Lympstone Res who realistically cannot afford to lose to stay in the title race.

East Budleigh and Newton St Cyres are looking to book their place in the semi final of the East Devon Senior cup, and there is also an intriguing Geary cup between Heavitree United Res and Uplowman Athletic.
