No let up for DIVISION FIVE leaders AFC Exe as they hit Upottery for six without reply but they are being stalked by the University who racked up a 5-2 win at home to Cheriton Fitzpaine. Main architect for the college was a Ollie James hat-trick.
Big boost at Awliscombe United as they clocked up a second league win although by just 1-0 at home to Amory Green Rovers. Stuart Marks with the priceless goal.
St Thomas preserved their 100% record as DIVISION SIX leaders but visiting Kenn Valley United who were without six regulars took the lead with a Phil White penalty and were eventually beaten 3-1 from two late goals. Leigh Atkins with a brace and Luke Squires were the home scorers.
Some high scoring in this division with the University winning at Okehampton Argyle 9-2, and Uplyme winning 9-1 at home to Witheridge. Goals for the students came from Lachlan Baker 3, Harry Kent 2, Oliver Hutton, Matt Phillips, Tom Spedding and Mike Thurbin. At Uplyme a consolation goal for Witheridge from Craig Way.
Falcons won 5-0 at Seaton Town with top player Gavin Richards, Bryan Mawson, Fin Newell, Harry Jee and Gavin Ruff on his debut sharing the goals.
Central won a close derby clash at Devon Yeoman 3-2, and Bickleigh scraped in 2-1 at Sandford.
Hats off to Thorverton who staked a claim for team of the day as they holed the 100% record of DIVISION SEVEN pacemakers Starcross Dons. Willl Hawkins with a double and Calum Revel for the thors.
Bradninch also staked a claim as they toppled Dolton Rangers 4-2. Max Bristow with a hat-trick and Ryan Trump goals for the Ninch.
Otterton doubled their wins for the season when they beat Priory 3-0, Callum Moore, Joe Poulten and Conn Taylor with a goal apiece.
Cheriton Fitzpaine and Beacon Knights split the points from a 1-1 draw.
DIVISION EIGHT leaders Whipton & Pinhoe fielded the Ronchetti family, Jason and his sons Brandon, Jack and 16 year old Harley on his debut at Tedburn St Mary but they had to work hard to win the day 1-0 and who scored the vital goal, Dad of course !
Second place Cranbrook United steamed to a 6-0 win at home to North Tawton, Joe Jackson with a hat-trick, Kye Stewart, Jake Williams, and Dave Hernon adding aces.
High scoring match at Millwey Rise where Exeter Panthers won 6-4, although the game was marred by a bad injury to one of the home players. Nathan Hopkins with a lively hat-trick, Owen Lester, Louis Daly, and Reece Phillips with the Panthers goals.
Title chasing Heart of Oak came through a tough test at Westexe Rovers 4-0, and the University won 3-1 against Bow AAC, Chris Sloan helping himself to a couple of goals.
Newton St Cyres and City Raiders drew 3-3 Noah Northvott 2 and Sam Winton holing out for the Cyres.
Ex Dons maintained second place in DIVISION NINE with a 10-0 rout of Starcross Dons. Hat-tricks for Max Reader and Jay Sutton and singles from Josh Price, Jack Ottoway, Ryan Fell and Finn Doyle-Stott.
However Whipton & Pinhoe and Exmouth Rovers arguing over third place settled for a 3-3 draw. Dylan Cory, Adam Vece and Drew Coles with the home goals, Brandon Hodge 2 and Kev Pitt for the Otters.
A rare goal for Amory Green Rovers at Hatherleigh but they still went down 7-1.
Hemyock came good at Feniton 2-0.
