Lapford Into final

Premier champions Lapford have made it through to the Throgmortons Champions cup final after they beat North Molton, the North Devon League champions on Saturday 1-0. The only goal came early from Harry Leach, but the semi was then delayed after Lapford keeper Matt Parsell suffered an injury following a collision with a North Molton player who was red-carded for his challenge.

The competition is held between the four area county League champions and awaiting Lapford will be The Windmill from the South Devon League who beat Millbridge of the Plymouth League recently.

The final is this coming Saturday 7th August at Devon FA 2pm kick off.
