Tins back after nearly a century but Cranbrook United and spoil their party

INTERMEDIATE ACTION DIVISIONS 5-8
Teign Village making their return to the League after nearly a century in the South Devon League were unable to celebrate the occasion in their allotted Division Five campaign after visiting Cranbrook United galloped away with a 5-1 win under their belts.
However the biggest win in this section was at Bickleigh where they sent Amory Green Rovers packing 7-1. Four goals from Tom Head, singles added by Joe Stoneman. Matt Atkins and Henry White.
The Heart of Oak playing on their new pitch at Countess Wear had to share the points from a 2-2 draw with Millwey Rise, but Awliscombe United got off to a good start edging Thorverton 1-0, Finlay Ferris with the only goal.
Just two matches to open Division Six, City Raiders much too strong for Okehampton Argyle where they won 7-0, and Otterys Development team winning 4-1 at Dolton Rangers. Nathan Hopkins with two goals, singles from Luke Paramore and Riki Pitter.
New boys Phoenix United were undone 5-2 by Hatherleigh Town in Division Seven. Tom Madge with a hat-trick, Harry Laing-Taylor and Rhys Morgan scoring for Hatherleigh. Kieran Endicott-Maule with both Phoenix goals.
Matt Peligry had both goals for Exmouth Rovers in their 2-1 win at Otterton
Exeter Royals began their account winning 4-1 at City Raiders. JP De Koch with two goals, Reece Phillips and Dale Joy with the others.
Seaton Town won 3-1 against Priory whose Niam Woodward was their consolation scorer.
In Division Eight Ex Dons won a cracker at Tedburn St Mary 4-3, Josh Price 2, Ben Lucas and Max Reader with their goals. Jamie Hatch, Cameron Pow and Chris Downs scoring for the Teds.
North Tawton won their game at Lympstone 2-1, Luca Taylor-Haydon and Jem Fawcett scoring, veteran Ian King the star of the show.
Finally Farway United second eleven making their first ever appearance in the League had to settle for a 0-0 draw at home to Hemyocks second eleven.
