The League will have three of the four semi finalists in the Devon Senior cup but sadly they lost Seaton Town beaten 3-1 at home by Beesands Rovers of the South Devon League.
Bow AAC stormed through to the last four with a 5-1 win against AFC Exe, and the Universitys 3rd XI were a little too good for Harbertonford also of the South Devon League who were sent packing 3-0.
Newton St Cyres complete the trio but needed a 2-0 penalty shoot outcome against Teignmouth Reserves after they ended 90 minutes at 1-1.
The top clubs in Senior league action were going nap. Upottery rolled over Chard Town Res 5-0 to stay ahead in Division One, and second place Winkleigh won 5-1 at Lympstone to maintain their challenge. Tom Shenton with a consolation goal for the Lympets.
Goals galore at Hatherleigh Town where Wellington triumphed 9-3, and an away win for Newtown at East Budleigh whose Toby Hill nabbed a consolation.
A delighted Tipton St John became the first team to take points off Division Two leaders St Martins where it ended 2-2. Both sides could have won it, but Saints were probably the happier side. Hugh Stronge and an own goal earned their point.
The University were relieved to get the better of Cranbrook 5-4,Arthur Leney with a brace, Jack Barry, Abdul-Salum Jah, and Freddie Nimmo with the college return.
Exmouth Spartans kept their challenge going winning 7-3 at Tedburn St Mary whose Nigel Geoghagen, Nathan Hubble and Tim Lucking scored.
Feniton needed a single goal to edge neighbours Dunkeswell Rovers 1-0, Westexe Rovers doubled that winning 2-0 against Farway United, and Clyst Valley won 4-2 at Central.
Heavitree United are top of Division Three after a 1-0 win against Bravehearts, Jake Battishall scoring, but they needed a penalty save by their keeper to deny their gallant visitors.
South Zeal United won the top match 3-1 at Uplyme.
The University came good at Bampton 5-2, Broadclyst scored twice without reply at home to Lyme Regis, and Witheridge did enough to get the better of Halwill 3-0. Rafa Sotomayor with two goals, Adam Leat with the third.
St Thomas SC took another giant stride towards the Division Four crown as they beat Cheriton Fitzpaine 2-0. Rikki Tucker and Declan Vowden with the goals.
Alphington put in their best effort to see off East Budleigh 4-1, Chris Powell 2, George Collier and skipper Myles O’Reilly on the mark.
A last minute goal earned Cullompton Rangers a 3-2 win against Uplyme whose consolation goals came from Jamie Gunstone on his debut.
The University won 4-0 at Budleigh Salterton all the goals coming before half-time from Ollie Williams 2, Isaac Brown and Louis Scholfield.
Kian Bedwell and Finlay Cox were the scorers for Colyton 2-0 winners at Elmore. Tom Brown was their man of the match.
Sidmouth Town just a little too strong for Exeter United the vikings winning 3-1.. Fady Bannattayallam with the visitors goal.
