TITLE IN SIGHT FOR ALPHINGTON

Just four games left to bridge that 44 year gap

The winning post is almost in sight for Premier leaders Alphington after their hard earned 3-1 win at home to a resolute Sidmouth Town. Two goal Tre Davey and Rio Potter got the job done along with some great work from Dylan King. The Alphas with just four games remaining may have to see whether Elmore who were 2-0 winners at Clyst Valley but have a massive 15 fixtures ahead can maintain their challenge but its a very tall order. The eagles are the only team to lower Alphington colours this season, and they are still hopeful for when the two meet in April it will be a showdown.

Second place Exeter University had no match but are joined by Kentisbeare who were 4-2 winners at Ottery St Mary. Jake Searle 2, Luke Abrahams and Lee Riggs with the Kents goals, Simon Hill their outstanding player.

Fourth place Colyton were held to a 1-1 draw at Dawlish United which enabled Lyme Regis to join them on 31 points after a stubborn 2-0 win at Sandford. Josh Daines and Alex Rowe with the goals.
