UPOTTERY TABLE TOPPERS IN PREMIER
ALL THE LEAGUE ACTION
PREMIER DIVISION
With most action on the County cups this weekend it gave Upottery chance to leap into top spot in Premier and they did it with a convincing 4-1 win at home to Crediton United Res.
Winkleigh share second place after their 2-0 win at Lyme Regis who currently feel they are stuck in second gear, but no worries for Lapford as they went into overdrive and proved too strong for mid Devon rivals Elmore Res winning 8-1.
A point apiece for the University Res and Sandford who will have been delighted with that by spoiling the college 100% record.
SENIOR DIVISIONS
The only match in Division One saw leaders Wellington come unstuck 1-0 at home to Newtown Res and missed their best chance from a penalty, but the tangerines still sit on top.
Division Two leaders Farway United managed to see off the University 4ths 1-0 and in the other game played Feniton Res won by the only goal at home to Tipton St John.
A delighted Witheridge knocked Budleigh Salterton Res off the top of Division Three in a cracker which the home side edged 2-1.
The University 5ths saw off Lyme Regis Res 5-0, while East Budleigh Res won their derby game at Sidmouth Town 3rds 3-2 in the other match played.
Delight for Elmore 3rds in their Division Four home game against Colyton Res. The eagles won 1-0 their first maximum.
A second victory for the University 6ths as they saw off Cullompton Res 5-1.
INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS
No action from Division Five and just one game played in Division Six where Ex Dons moved into joint top spot with a lively 4-3 victory at Whipton & Pinhoe.
City Raiders Res soared three points clear at the top of Division Seven winning 5-2 at South Zeal United Res and that was also the scoreline at Phoenix United where the Universitys 8th team came good.
In Division Eight Millwey Rise Res took advantage of a weakened Farway United Res running out 11-2. Bow AAC Res won a good game against Starcross Dons 2-0, while City Raiders 3rds came close to their first ever win drawing 1-1 against visiting Lympstone Res.
