CONGRATULATIONS BIG TIME FOR NEW PREMIER CHAMPIONS

Alphington are over the winning line to become Premier champions for the first time in 44 years. Needing just a point at Lyme Regis tonight, the Alphas nudged their way in front by the break then raced to the tape with four goals to run out 5-0 winners and hit the 100 league goal mark.

It completes a hat-trick of Premier titles for the club adding to their 1978 and 1979 triumphs and few would deny they have dominated the League this season.
