DAVEY FORT MEN INTO QUARTER FINALS OF COUNTY CUP BUT RESERVES GO OUT

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7

Mixed fortunes for our Dorset County cup hopefuls Lyme Regis with their first team winning their Intermediate cup trip to Yetminster United 3-1 but their second XI going out of the Minor cup 5-2 to Allendale United Res. That draw yet to be made so Lyme wont know their next opponents until sometime this week.

The Davey Fort side won against the Yetties from the Perry Street League 3-1 with Bowditch, Burrough and Simons finding the net, which books them a place in the quarter finals. However the Reserves 100 mile round trek to Wimborne to face the Dalemen from the Dorset League was too big an big ask. Batey and an own goal gave Lyme some respite.
